After the formation of Chhattisgarh State, notification no. F10-5-/13/2001 Raipur 20-7-2001 of Chhattisgarh Government School Education Department Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education was formed.
The headquarters of the mandal is in raipur, the capital of the state, four divisional offices are established in Bilaspur, Surguja, Jagdalpur, Rajnandgaon. Divisional Office Surguja is from Surguja, Koriya, Balrampur, Surajpur and Jashpur, Bilaspur Divisional Office is from Bilaspur. Janjgir, Korba, Raigarh and Mungeli, Jagdalpur Divisional Office area Jagdalpur, Dantewada, Bijapur, Narayanpur, Sukma, Kondangov The jurisdiction of Kanker and Rajnandgaon divisional offices has been fixed in Balod, Bemetara, Durg, Kawardha and Rajnandgaon districts.
